MISSION STATEMENT

We, the members of the Morning Star Baptist Church, are persuaded to be a God-centered, God fearing congregation of baptized believers, filled with the Holy Spirit.

We will strive to be united in Christian love for one another and all mankind with a central focus of leading lost souls to Christ. We aspire to progressively grow spiritually, physically, and financially through leadership, training, guidance and continuing to be students and practitioners of God's word. We will strive to be an inspiration to all by serving hospitably, joyfully and willingly, using our God-given talents to do His will.

We will always remember to give praise and honor to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for all His blessings. We will never be ashamed of our Christianity and will make it our goal to always give God the best of our service.

BELIEFS

This is my Bible, God's holy word.
It is a lamp upon my feet,
And a light unto my path.

I believe what it says.
I can have what it says,
If I do what it says.

For God's word is true.

*Morning Star Baptist Church is a sovereign governed body. It is comprised of baptized believers in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The church body is the ultimate authority under the guide and direction of the Holy Spirit. The church is affiliated with the Lebanon Virginia Baptist Association and Allied Bodies.
